Social Media for Researchers

This course is designed to introduce researchers to a range of online mediation and networking tools. The workshop will be delivered primarily through example, discussion and practical activity. It is aimed at researchers who wish to 'dip their toe' into online media, as well as those who may have experimented with online media but are keen to think about it more. By the end of part 1 you will have a wordpress and twitter profile (under a pseudonym if you prefer), and some idea of how you can make it work for you. Whether you maintain a habit for blogging is up to you!

Part 2 will also offer an opportunity to gain advice and feedback on your online media efforts and a chance to share learning experiences.

Please note that you must be available to attend both Parts 1 & 2.
