Organising public events can be very different from events aimed at an academic or student audience. This half-day course will cover process from start to finish, illustrating the 'difference' of organising an event for the public. Discussion will centre around good practice, common errors and benefits of public events, as well as informing participants of University support for events of different types. The course will also cover the why? and how? of evaluation.
