This one-day workshop will provide lots of help and guidance to develop the skills and confidence to undertake high quality public engagement with schools. The day will begin with an overview of the education system and Curriculum in Wales, highlighting the opportunities and role for PE to enrich and enhance the curriculum and to inform and inspire both pupils and teachers. The workshop will provide participants with the tools to plan, tailor, and deliver appropriate and suitable activities for pupils of all ages. There will be opportunities for participants to engage in a variety of activities themselves and explore the strengths and weaknesses of these for pupils of various age groups and ability ranges. The day will conclude with an overview of how schools operate and what you need to know to work effectively with schools.
