Community University Partnership Event
Friday 30th March 2012, 11.00am – 1.30pm
Park Plaza Cardiff, Grey Friars Road, Cardiff, CF10 3AL
The event will offer a chance to network with academics, researchers and community organisations, to discuss partnerships in the area of interest and to learn more about what each of the parties can offer. It will be a perfect opportunity for professionals to share a couple of hours of creative thought and discussion.
Participants are encouraged to think widely about the possibilities and interests within their organisations that could benefit from a partnership with a university/community organisation.
· a community organisation might be looking for academic partners to pursue potential projects, develop an existing or new service, or for a researcher to help them engage their service users in planning / evaluating an event
· a researcher might be looking for partners to collaborate on a joint funding bid or for partner involvement in a research project
