One of the aims of the Beacon for Wales is to help to create an effective network for engagement in and across Wales. In order to achieve this, we are working with partners to support networks that allow academics, professional communicators and community members to come together to generate effective engagement.

Science Alliance Cymru was formed in 2007 by the five core partners of the Beacon for Wales, together with the British Science Association.
